Sean Davis was harshly sent off for Bolton. Final score was 2-3

Man Utd v Arsenal: The late kick-off today gave the first fixture of the 'top four' between Man Utd and Arsenal. Arsenal took the lead through a rocket from Arshavin, but a penalty from Wayne Rooney and then a ridiculous own goal from Abou Diaby gave United the victory. It ended 2-1, but it was a fascinating match which either team could have won.

Stoke v Sunderland: The Britannia Stadium has became a bit of a fortress for Stoke last season, and they grabbed victory over Sunderland with Dave Kitson's first goal in the Premier League for Stoke. The final score was 1-0.

Tottenham v Birmingham: Tottenham are sending out a real message that they are contenders this season, showing real fighting spirit against Birmingham. Peter Crouch gave Spurs the lead but Lee Bowyer leveled for the visitors. And then, in the fourth of five minutes of added time, Aaron Lennon fired Spurs to victory with a shot into the bottom corner.

Wolves v Hull: Hull got a terrific start, Brazilian Geovanni gave them the lead in the third minute. Wolves fought back though, and Richard Stearman got a deserved equalizer in the 46Th minute.
