Can United Challenge next year?

Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Are Manchester United still Premier league challengers next season? With the loss of two of their attacking superstars, for me, its hard to see them mounting a serious challenge for the league.

Crisitiano Ronaldo, United's leader goals scorer over the past two seasons, departed for Real Madrid and soon after Argentinian forward Carlos Tevez signed for rivals Manchester City. Of course Ronaldo is a big loss, and everyone knows why, but the departure of Tevez will also have a huge affect on The Red Devils. Along with the goals Tevez scored and made, he was always a hard worker, unlike some of the other united strikers, and for me was among their best players behind Ronaldo and Rooney.

So the question has to be asked, can they challenge for the tittle next year? For me, no they can't, they have lost two key players and brought in three players who for me, could never replace Ronaldo or Tevez.

What do you think of Man Utd's title credentials next year?

Couldn't agree more, United wil struggle big time with Ronaldo and Tevez. Personally, I think Liverpool have a cracking chance next season!
