Anderson on his way out?

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Manchester United midfielder Anderson's future is in doubt after an alleged bust up with manager Alex Ferguson. The Brazilian midfielders was apparently furious of being left out of the squad for the Community Shield loss against Chelsea, and was again left out against Wigan, with Darren Gibson making the cut to replace Paul Scholes.

Anderson hasn't featured much this season, only playing 60 minutes against Burnley, where he made little or no impact in a 1-0 defeat. And according to the The Mirror, the bust up left manager Alex Ferguson fuming, thus leaving Anderson out of the Wigan match.

Anderson arrived from Porto in 2007 for nearly £18 million, a fee which he has not nearly lived up to. There is no doubt he has bags of potential and Ferguson does not want to lose the man he bought as a long term replacement for Paul Scholes but the Brazilian needs to have a chance in the first team or he would be right to pack his bags and leave.
