When will Walcott or Aquilani play?

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

So far this season, Theo Walcott or Alberto Aquilani have not played one minute for their clubs, Arsenal and Liverpool. I'm disappointed to say the least, Walcott is one of Arsenal's most exciting players and everyone is keen to see how Aquilani will fit into the Liverpool team, as well as adapt to the Premier League.

Walcott is suffering from a back injury which has kept him out a lot longer than expected. The flying winger injured himself against Valencia pre-season, but Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger says he will be back within days, and according the The Mirror, he has taken an injection in a bid to have him in the squad for the trip to Fulham.

Aquilani however, was bought immediately after the sale of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid. He has yet to make him debut for the Reds as he is still recovering from an ankle injury, in which he had surgery on. I'm keen to see how Aquilani will adapt and can't wait to see him playing in the Liverpool shirt.
